Current 2/3” CCDs exhibit little to no vertical smear on highlights.
2/3” CCDs are available in native 16:9 widescreen sizes vs. widescreen
derived from 4:3 CCDs normally found on smaller CCDs.
2/3” digital processing cameras typically provide more menu driven control
parameters for precise camera setup and flexibility for control of the image.
