The Sony DSR-450WS is Sony's new top-end DVCAM camcorder, with
three native 16X9 2/3" one million pixel Power HAD EX CCDs for high resolution,
high-sensitivity, low noise, low smear and 12-bit processing for top of its class
quality for NTSC 4:3 and 16:9 recording. It offers new features to the DVCAM format such as a 24P film-like mode, 30PsF progressive scan,
slow shutter, and time-lapse modes. Additionally, the camera has a 2.5" LCD color monitor,
scene files that can be saved on to a Memory Stick, and multiple film-like gamma curves. Outputs
include, composite video, Firewire and SDI digital outputs. It comes with a Fujinon broadcast
15X8 internal focus lens and a no charge Standard Support Package.
