SSV offers an affordable, yet powerful Fly Pack for location switched productions. Whether utilized for live satellite or web delivered shows or live to tape, our small footprint Fly Pack, is capable of handling live productions of all types, thanks to its hybrid composite and component design.
Based around a Sony BVS-3200 switcher, the Fly Pack provides multiple switched feeds simultaneously in composite and component(cuts only). The three module Fly Pack fits on a table top and has monitoring for 10 sources, as well as engineering,
preview and program feeds.
Engineering/terminal gear includes sync and test signal generator, waveform and vectorscopes, 13)video DA’s, 3)routers, 2-channel Clearcom intercom system with 15)belt-pack/headsets, signal transcoders, and AC power regulation/filtering.
The Fly Pack acts as the hub for such sources as our Sony BVP-550 broadcast digital cameras with CCU’s, Folsom computer scan converters, Sony VTR’s, DPS-475 frame store/TBC, and Chyron character generator. The outputs can be fed to program and ISO VTR’s, webcasts, satellite feeds and large screen projection via our Di-VentiX HD 2-channel switcher/scaler.
