The true successor to the original Varicam, the Panasonic HPX2700 P2 Varicam offers up to 6 1/2 hours of record time on 5)32Gb P2 cards in DVCPRO HD and the new AVC Intra 100 10-bit, full sample, I-Frame format, for studio quality with convenience never before available in a one-piece camera.  The HPX2700 has variable frame rates from 1-60 fps in one frame increments for slow and fast motion effects, 10 stops of latitude in AVC Intra 100, Film-Rec gamma at up to 600% and 3-stage DRS for high contrast scenes, as well as time lapse modes.  Native frame rate modes are now available in 1080/24p and 30p with AVC Intra, allowing for more recording time.  Updated Varicam features, studio quality recording format, coupled with the reliability and convenience of tapeless, file based editing--the HPX2700 delivers!

Sony PMW-EX1 XDCAM EX HD Camera

The EX1 is the most affordable full raster, 1080X1920 HD camera available, yielding incredibly sharp, detailed imagery. Every pixel of the EX1's 3)1/2" CMOS sensors are recorded onto the XDCAM EX format, using SxS memory cards for fast, convenient file based recording and transfers. The EX1 features a 14X Fujinon lens, HD SDI output, sharp LCD display, time lapse, variable frame rates for slow motion and fast motion, allowing for creative, full HD image capture. It is the lowest cost CineAlta badged camera Sony offers.

There is finally a high quality, affordable way to get 35mm lenses and the cinematic shallow depth of field that goes with them on a full size, 2/3” HD camera--the new Letus B4 Pro Relay lens.  Rated at f1.5, the B4 Pro can be used with Letus 35mm Cine adapters, including our top of the line Letus Ultimate model.  The Letus B4 Pro Relay and Ultimate, which allows the use of Nikon or Canon 35mm SLR or PL-mount 35mm Cine lenses, costs much less than the previous 35mm adapter and Cine prime lens set to rent.

Now there is a quick, easy and affordable way to get dynamic camera movement—the indiSLIDERpro three foot camera slider.  Just mount the slider on a tripod or on a table or the ground, and use any size camera on the rails with a fluid head to get a smooth, 10-30 second dolly shot without track or a dolly grip.  It’s a very fast, inexpensive way to raise the production value of any shoot.

The Zacuto Z-Focus follow focus control allows for precise, smooth focusing.  Multiple focus points can be marked for exact focus points and focus pulls.  The follow focus control has changeable gears so that it can be used with our Fujinon HD and broadcast zoom lenses, as well as our Nikon 35mm SLR prime lens set.  It mounts on standard 15mm rods, and comes with a 16” whip for focusing without shaking the camera.  It is suitable for hand-held with dual handles or tripod mounted use.
